The launch of an iconic brand in Grand Rapids
Over the past few years, there’s been a lot of talk about revitalizing the retail district in downtown Grand Rapids. Stores like Oh, Hello and Vault of Midnight, along with bars and restaurants like House of Wine and Littlebird, amongst many others, have all lended to this effort of bringing people downtown.
Last week, I had the exciting opportunity to help photograph the launch of Shinola as it opened its downtown Grand Rapids store. An iconic brand based out of Detroit, Shinola’s downtown GR location is its first store opening since 2019. And Grand Rapids residents came out in droves. Here’s a few of my favorite photos; I look forward to working with Shinola again!
